International Humanitarian Law Scholarships available through A Start in Life


A Start in Life, an education-based charity, is offering three (3) scholarships to undergraduate students studying International Humanitarian Law.

Successful applicants will receive A Start in Lifes Tertiary Scholarship support plus an additional $5,000 on completion of the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) unit.

Please read the following details before applying:

  • Designed for engaged and motivated students who are facing barriers to their education (primarily financial).
  • $3,600 financial support per year (paid in four payments)
    • This includes support for tertiary study resources and expenses such as internet, textbooks, stationery, utilities, accommodation, transport, extra-curricular activities and more
  • $500 academic bonus per year may apply to students who have an improved or high Weighted Average Mark (WAM)
  • Must be an Australian citizen, aged 24 and under, enrolled in an undergraduate course
  • Must be enrolled in IHL unit ($5,000 awarded on completion oh IHL unit)
