Outline
This high school leaver scholarship is open to rural students who will be commencing full-time study in a UNSW Bachelor of Engineering in either Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
Eligibility
Application Process
This scholarship is administered as part of the Faculty of Engineering Rural Scholarship Program, applications are via UNSW Co-op. For information on the Eligibility Criteria and other scholarship details please visit the Faculty of Engineering Rural Scholarships Program page.
Selection
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
- Academic merit (estimated ATAR of 92)
- Good academic ability in Mathematics, English and Science
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in civil or environmental engineering
- Personal qualities (for example involvement and achievement in school and community activities, strong leadership and communication skills)
- Consideration may be given to any economic circumstances which might otherwise hinder successful transition to UNSW.
Interviews
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
