Outline

The Una and Harley Wood Award for Indigenous Students Scholarship is established to encourage Indigenous Students to achieve success in study in the Undergraduate Medicine Program in the Faculty of Medicine at UNSW.

Eligibility

Recipients must be Indigenous Students currently undertaking full-time study in any year of the Medicine degree in the Faculty of Medicine at UNSW.

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit
  • Reasons for undertaking the study
  • Consideration will also be given to demonstrated involvement in the Indigenous community and awareness of health issues relating to Indigenous communities
  • Preference may be given to first year students but the Scholarship is not exclusive to first year students.

Interviews

Interviews are not required for this Scholarship
