Outline

The Golden Jubilee Scholarship was established for outstanding international Diplomates from selected institutions in Singapore and Malaysia wishing to undertake their final years of undergraduate study at UNSW.

The scholarships are tenable for Semester 2, 2016 in the following UNSW Faculties - UNSW Business School. The scholarships are also available for study in the Faculty of the Built Environment, UNSW Art & Design and Science for study commencing in Semester 1, 2017 (March).

Recipients will receive up to 96 units of credit of tuition fee remission, which is equivalent to two years of full-time study.

There are two scholarship application periods each year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Scholarship, a student must:

  • be enrolled in an undergraduate degree at UNSW in one of the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, the Built Environment, Commerce and Economics, Engineering, Science, or the College of Fine Arts
  • be graduates of Diploma or equivalent courses, of at least two years duration, from the institutions listed in Section 4.2, Approved Institutions, below. Successful applicants may be granted advanced standing on the basis of their prior studies in Singapore and Malaysia.
  • hold a three year Diploma issued not more than five years prior to the proposed commencement date of the study at UNSW.
  • be ranked one or two in their course (based on three years performance)
  • have achieved an A-HD/AD average over the duration of their Diploma.
