Outline

This Award is established to encourage students from interstate (outside of NSW) to undertake study in an undergraduate degree program at UNSW.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants

• Must be currently undertaking an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate, (i.e. the HSC) or equivalent
• Applicants who have completed their schooling in the previous two years are also eligible to apply provided they have not commenced any tertiary study in the meantime
• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident and must normally reside interstate at the time of application

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

• Academic merit
• Demonstrated ability
• Leadership qualities
• Potential to contribute to the wider life of the University and community
• Preference may be given to a student undertaking a degree program within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
