The Ronald Lu Travelling Scholarship in Architecture is available for students enrolled full-time in either the Bachelor of Architectural Studies or the Master of Architecture intending to undertake a study tour to Asia prior to the end of the 2017 Summer Vacation period (February 2017).

Selection

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in the Faculty of the Built Environment at UNSW in either: - the first year of the Master of Architecture, OR - the third year of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies. To be eligible for the scholarship undergraduate applicants must be planning to enrol in the Master of Architecture in 2015. Applicants will be assessed on the basis of: > academic merit; > details of the proposed study tour and how the applicant plans to experience the architecture of Asia; and > how the applicant expects to benefit from the experience gained. Scholarship holders may be asked to submit a written report to UNSW outlining the experience gained and benefits enjoyed while in receipt of the Scholarship. Recipients are also requested to share with their fellow students what they have learnt from the experience at a final year undergraduate class. The travel must be taken by the end of the 2016 Summer Vacation period (February 2016). Requests to undertake travel outside this period must receive the approval of the Manager, UNSW Scholarships. Previous recipients of the scholarship are ineligible to apply.
