The Judith Miller Memorial Honours Award was established in memory of Judith Miller, one of the first UNSW Alumni Award recipients, to assist students undertaking the Honours program at the UNSW Business School.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be undertaking full time or part time study in the Honours program in the field of Workforce Diversity Management at the UNSW Business School

A thesis proposal in any of the following fields will be eligible:

  • Gender equality in pay and/or employment
  • Precarious employment
  • Employment issues for workers from non-English speaking, Indigenous, disability or gay/lesbian/transgender backgrounds
  • Work/life balance
  • Issues for older women workers
  • Harassment
  • Workers with care-giving responsibilities for elderly or disabled relatives or friends

Each applicant will be assessed on the basis of the best proposal for an Honours year thesis in the field of workforce diversity management. Financial need may also be taken into consideration.
