UNSW is committed to producing globally focused graduates who are rigorous scholars, capable of leadership and professional practice in the international community. To advance the UNSW student experience and attract the highest achieving students to the University, UNSW will be offering scholarships for high achieving international students enrolling in the 2012 March and July intakes. The scholarships are provided to international students for selected undergraduate degree programs and master by coursework programs in each of the universities Faculties. Students must be studying full time at one of UNSW's Australian campuses. Scholarship recipients for Semester 1 2012 will be announced from December 2011 with all recipients notified no later than February 2012. Scholarship recipients for Semester 2 2012 will be announced from May 2012 with all recipients notified no later than July 2012. You do not need to complete a separate scholarship application as your application will be automatically considered if you have submitted an application to study at UNSW by 30 November 2011 for study in Semester 1, 2012 or 30 April 2012 for study in Semester 2, 2012, unless indicated otherwise in the Faculty outlines. To be eligible you should have: - an unconditional offer to study at the University of New South Wales* - achieved excellent results in previous study (please refer to Faculty documents for specific criteria) - have achieved overall IELTS score of 7.0** or higher (if previous studies were completed in a language other than English) Students must be undertaking full-time study and be studying at one of UNSW's Australian campuses to eligible for the scholarship. * Students considered for the UNSW Institute of Languages Conditional Package Offer scholarships will not be required to have an unconditional offer. UNSW recognises that some students may not have received an Offer of Admission by 30 November 2011. These students include: current UNSW undergraduate students applying for a postgraduate study place, students who have applied through UAC Admission to gain entry to UNSW and Foundation Studies students.
