Outline

The UNSW Law Society Award was established to recognise outstanding individuals and to assist students to undertake undergraduate study in a combined Law program in the Faculty of Law at UNSW.

It is hoped that Scholarship recipients will make a significant contribution to the UNSW Law School community.

Application Process

In order to be potentially considered for this scholarship please apply via the advertisement for the Vanessa Hardman Law Memorial Scholarship (UGCA1566).

Eligibility

To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:

  • Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period.
  • Be commencing full-time study in an undergraduate UNSW dual Law degree program

Selection

Selection will be based on the following criteria:

  • Academic merit;
  • Potential to contribute to the wider life of the University; and
  • Leadership skills.
Preference may be given applicants in receipt of means-tested Centrelink Benefits, such as ABSTUDY, Youth Allowance, or Austudy.
