Outline
The purpose of this award is to provide financial support for students to gain direct exposure to different styles of lawyering in practice by undertake an internship. This award will assist with payment of airfares, accommodation, visas and other costs of international travel.
Internship
The internship must be provided by an organisation located outside of Australia nominated by the student and agreed to by the Director of Experiential Learning. Such organisations may include, without limitation: The Award recipient is responsible for organising their internship with the host organisation. The internship must be approved by the Director of Experiential Learning, UNSW Law or their delegate
No guarantees are made that students will be able to do their internship with the organisation of their first choice.
The Faculty of Law is responsible for managing all academic requirements of the UNSW Law Internship subject.
