This award has been established to encourage students to undertake full time undergraduate study in the School of Materials Science and Engineering.

Eligibility

To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:

  • Have completed the Higher School Certificate (or equivalent qualification) in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or two (2) years prior to commencing study provided they have not undertaken any tertiary study in the meantime

  • Be proposing to undertake one of the following programs:
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Materials Science and Engineering) (3135)
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Materials Science and Engineering)/Bachelor of Commerce (3136)
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Materials Science and Engineering)/Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (3137)
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Materials Science and Engineering)/Master of Biomedical Engineering (3138)

      • Selection

      Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

      • Academic merit
      • Aptitude and commitment to studies in Engineering
      • Reason for undertaking studies in Materials Science and Engineering
      • Interest in pursuing a career in Materials

        • Interviews
