Outline

The Lily and Dr Ben K.C. Chng Scholarship has been created to encourage and enable students undertaking a diploma from selected Singaporean Polytechnics to complete an undergraduate degree in any discipline within the Faculty of the Built Environment at UNSW.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship applicants must:

Be a citizen or permanent resident of Singapore

Have applied for an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of the Built Environment at UNSW

Hold a diploma or have studied the equivalent courses for at least two years, from one of the following institutions: Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic or Republic Polytechnic

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

• Academic merit
• Commitment to their preferred program of study
• Personal qualities such as involvement in extra-curricular activities, evidence of leadership skills and the potential to contribute to the wider life of the University
