Outline

The Jim Douglas Award in Statistics was established to encourage students to undertake full time in the Faculty of Science entering an Honours Year Program to study Statistics.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be proposing to undertake a full-time Honours year in the Faculty of Science to study Statistics.

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit
  • A written statement of up to 500 words: Explaining interest in statistics and how the honours year will contribute to their career plans
