Outline

The UNSW Business School International High Achievers Scholarship scheme is established to attract high performing students, who are undertaking a nominated articulation pathway from a partner institution in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, to UNSW Business School.

  • $10,000 stipend
  • Networking opportunity with other scholarship winners
  • Networking opportunities with students studying at UNSW from Partner Institutions.

Eligibility

To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must:

  • Be an international student
  • Be commencing in a UNSW Business School degree program; and
  • Be undertaking one of the nominated undergraduate or masters articulation pathways from a pathway partner institution in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, prior to commencing study at UNSW;
  • Have achieved academic excellence in the relevant program of study at the pathway partner institutions in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
  • Not have previously undertaken any other tertiary studies prior to commencing study at UNSW.
  • The recipient must be commencing full-time undergraduate or postgraduate coursework study in one of the following single or dual programs offered by UNSW Business School:
    • Bachelor of Commerce (3502)
    • Bachelor of Commerce (International) (3558)
    • Bachelor of Economics (3543)
    • Bachelor of Information Systems (3979)
    • Bachelor of Actuarial Studies (3586)
    • Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Commerce (3155)
    • Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Economics (3588)
    • Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Economics (3521)
    • Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Information Systems (3584)
    • Master of Commerce (8404)

    Dual Degrees: Consideration may be given for undergraduate dual degrees in combination with another Faculty (e.g. Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Arts (3573)).

    Selection

    Each applicant will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate:

    • Applicants must have achieved academic excellence in the relevant program of study at the pathway partner institutions in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
    • Applicants may also be assessed on the following criteria:
      • Reasons for undertaking a business degree at UNSW
      • Participation in extra-curricular activities
      • Interests and career aspirations
      • Work experience (if any)

      Interviews

      Interviews are not required for this Scholarship.
