Outline
Each year ten UNSW Honours Year Scholarships are awarded to students who achieve a Distinction average in their respective undergraduate degree programs.
Eligibility
- The scholarship is only available to students who are enrolled in a degree program where the award of honours requires an extra year of full-time study (48 uoc) over and above the requirements of the pass degree.
Selection
- Selection is made on the basis of academic merit and the proposed honours project.
- Students are ranked on the basis of their average marks over their final two years of full-time pass degree study (96 uoc). For students in combined degrees assessment is based on the average marks in the relevant degree program. General Education courses are not included in the calculation.
- All applicants must include a brief but concise statement on the proposed honours project. UNSW Art & Design applicants are to provide a statement on their research potential and the benefit to their discipline.
Interviews
Interviews are not required for this Scholarship.
