Outline

The Ross Steele Scholarship for International Exchange in Art & Design was established to encourage students from UNSW Art & Design to travel for their Creative Development. This is the first scholarship agreement of its kind given philanthropically to UNSW Art & Design.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be an Australian Citizen/ Australian Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen; and
• Have applied, and have been accepted for international exchange through UNSW International; and
• Be enrolled in any full-time UNSW Art & Design undergraduate degree program

Applicants must be undertaking exchange in 2018.

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

• Academic Merit (based on assessments);
• Applicants will demonstrate an interest or relevance to travel for their creative development

Preference will be given to applicants who have not traveled overseas for a similar purpose.

No interviews are required for this Scholarship.
