Outline

The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and support a high-achieving student from a low income background commencing an undergraduate combined Science/Law degree at UNSW Law.

Eligibility

Applications are open now for students currently enrolled in the 1st year of the following degree programs:

  • Science/LLB
  • Sc (Adv Science) (Hons)/LLB
  • Sc (Advanced Maths) (Hons)/LLB

Applicants must be in receipt of a means tested Centrelink benefit and be able to provide a Centrelink Reference Number (CRN)

Selection

Each applicant will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate financial need where applicants are in receipt of means-tested Centrelink Benefits, such as ABSTUDY, Youth Allowance, or Austudy..

Consideration will also be given to each of the following circumstances:

  • Academic merit
  • Potential to contribute to the wider life of the University
  • Demonstrated or potential leadership skills
