Outline

The Ngunnagan Delanty Galvin Award was established to assist disadvantaged students from rural schools to undertake undergraduate studies at UNSW.

Eligibility

• Must be undertaking an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (i.e. HSC) or equivalent, in the year prior to the award being made
• Must be proposing to enrol in any full-time undergraduate degree program at UNSW.

Selection

Candidates will be considered on the basis of their UAC Equity online application.

Each applicant must be experiencing low socio economic circumstances and will be assessed on their eligibility to demonstrate one or more of the following criteria:

• Indigenous Australian
• Long term medical condition/disability or ongoing affects of abuse
• Carer responsibilities
• Regional or remote disadvantages
• Sole parent responsibilities

Applicants must submit a UAC Undergraduate Equity Scholarship application by 13th December, 2017.

Interviews

Interviews are not required for this Scholarship
