Outline

The Mitsubishi Development Scholarship in Mining Engineering aims to assist current Flexible First Year Engineering students who will be commencing full-time study in the UNSW Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering program in Term 1 2021.

Application Process

Candidates are not required to submit a separate Scholarship application. Eligible candidates will be identified through UNSW records. The successful candidate will be notified by 22/01/2020.

Eligibility

To be eligible, candidates must:

  • Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders) or New Zealand Citizen, and
  • Have completed 48 UoC in the 2020 academic year as a Flexible First year student within the Faculty of Engineering, and
  • Declare the Mining Engineering program specilisation via myUNSW by 15/01/2021, and
  • Be commencing the second year of full-time undergraduate study (single or dual) in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Mining in Term 1, 2021.

Candidates will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit only
