Outline
The purpose of the Scholarship is to award a scholarship to a student enrolled through the Gateway Medicine Pathway or any successor scholarship scheme at UNSW for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be commencing in a Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine (BMed/MD)
- Be enrolled through the Gateway Medicine Pathway
- Be from the South-West Sydney region
- Be Female
Selection
Each applicant will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate:
- Academic merit
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in an area of Medicine
- Altruistic intentions
You must provide evidence supporting the above criteria in your online application. Please refer to the Scholarship Application Supporting Documents for a detailed list of examples.
Unanswered application questions or claims without supporting documentation will not be assessed. Late applications/supporting documentation will not be accepted.
Applications close 11:59PM AEST, 3 January 2023.UNSW reserves the right not to award a scholarship, where there is no applicant of sufficient merit, or if the applicant does not meet the scholarship eligibility and/or selection criteria.
