Outline

The Boyarsky Undergraduate International Travel Scholarship was established to encourage students in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Faculty of the Built Environment to undertake a period of study overseas on a UNSW International Exchange.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible applicants must be

    • Enrolled full time, in the second, third or later year of an undergraduate degree in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering or the Faculty of the Built Environment
    • Applicants must be proposing to undertake a period of study overseas approved by UNSW.

    Selection

    Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

    • Demonstrated character and leadership qualities
    • Commitment to return to Australia following the approved period of exchange
    • Statement outlining the focus of the proposed overseas study, including potential long-term benefit to UNSW Australia and to the broader Australian community, as well as expectations of the personal benefits of this experience
    • Demonstrated commitment to University Campus life
    • Academic attainment preferably to a minimum credit average (65% WAM)

    The successful recipient may not hold any other scholarship or award.

    Interviews

    Interviews are not required for this Scholarship.
