The David Walsh Memorial Scholarship is established for Medicine students to undertake Honours level study in developmental biology, genetics or biochemistry, and their relationship to birth defects.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be an undergraduate student proposing to undertake the one year Honours Program in Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Science (Advanced Science) or Science (Medicine) Honours in developmental biology, genetics or biochemistry and their relationship to developmental birth defects.

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

• Academic merit
• An Honours thesis proposal
