This scholarship will next be available in 2015.

The Maple-Brown NSW Rural Scholarship was established to enhance the opportunities of students from regional areas in New South Wales to study in the Australian School of Business at UNSW.

Eligibility

Selection

The scholarship is available to students who have completed the HSC or equivalent in the top five per cent of their state-wide cohort, having being enrolled at a country high school in NSW.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants family homes must be in rural New South Wales, or applicants must have been located in a rural area for at least four years during high school.

The recipient must be proposing to undertake full-time study in the first year of an undergraduate program in the Australian School of Business.

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of academic merit, leadership qualities, their contribution to their school and wider community and reasons for the proposed course of study.
