Outline

The F H Reuter Award in Food Science & Technology aims to encourage and assist students to undertake full-time study in the UNSW Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident and
• Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB, either:
  • In the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or
  • In the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period.
• Commenced full-time undergraduate study in the Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology (UNSW Code - 3061) offered by the School of Chemical Engineering in Term 1, 2019.

Selection

Recipients will be selected on the basis of:

• Academic merit (it is expected that applicants will have studied chemistry and either biology or physics)
• Demonstrated aptitude and interest in studying food science
• Leadership qualities and the potential to contribute to the wider life of the University may also be taken into account.
