Outline

The Lindsay Robertson Memorial Award is offered every alternate year to encourage a UNSW graduate in Landscape Architecture to undertake postgraduate study or research in Australia or overseas. The Award is available for applications for study in 2019.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must be:

  • A graduate of UNSW who has been awarded the of Bachelor of Landscape Architecture
  • Must have graduated from UNSW within 15 years of applying for the Award.
  • Proposing to undertake post-graduate study or research in Landscape Architecture or equivalent program of study(e.g. Urban Design or Planning) at UNSW, or another approved University or Institution in Australia or overseas,
  • OR:

  • Proposing to undertake an individual study project on Landscape Architecture that is deemed appropriate by the selection committee.

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit.
  • Commitment to the area of research or study.
  • The successful applicant must produce satisfactory evidence of acceptance for enrolment prior to receiving the award.
  • Where the applicant is proposing to undertake an individual study project, supporting documentation and correspondence must be provided to the selection committee prior to receiving the award.

    Interviews

    Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend an interview.
