Outline
The Mark Dorrity Athletics Scholarship aims to assist outstanding athletes who are members of, or are intending to join the UNSW Athletics Club and will also contribute to the administration of the club.
High School Leavers
In order to be potentially considered for this scholarship, High School Leavers apply via the advertisement for the Ben Lexcen Sports Scholarship (For future UNSW students) UGCE2043 by 30 September 2017
Current UNSW Students
In order to be potentially considered for this scholarship, Current Students should apply via the advertisement for the Elite Athlete and Sports Scholarships for Current Students UGCE1430 by 30 November 2017
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be undertaking or proposing to undertake undergraduate studies at UNSW in any UNSW Faculty; and
- Have an outstanding ability in athletics (track and field); and
- Be or intending to be active members of the UNSW Athletics Club and also represent UNSW at the Australian University Games.
Selection
Applicants are assessed:
- Primarily on their athletic ability; and
- Consideration will also be given to the applicant's previous and potential contribution to the administration and management of the UNSW Athletics Club.
Interviews
Interviews are not required for this Scholarship.
