Humanitarian visa's holders may apply
Up to 15 scholarships will be awarded each year to assist students who are financially and educationally disadvantaged to undertake full-time undergraduate study at UNSW. Applicants must be completing the NSW HSC (or equivalent examination) in the year of the application or the previous year (but must not have commenced tertiary study), and be proposing full-time study in the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree program.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a scholarship, an applicant must be enrolled in a full time Undergraduate degree at UNSW (or will be enrolled in the coming year in a full time Undergraduate degree). Applicants must be in financial need and at least one other social disadvantage.

Selection

Students will be considered on the basis of their application through UAC Equity online application. Each applicant must be experiencing low socio economic circumstances and will be assessed on their eligibility to meet one or more of the following criteria.
a) Indigenous Australian. b) Long term medical condition/disability or ongoing affects of abuse. c) Carer responsibilities. d) English language difficulties. e) Regional or remote disadvantages. f) Sole parent responsibilities.

Interviews

Interviews are not required for this Scholarship.
