Outline
The Bundilla Award aims to encourage rural (NSW) students to undertake study in Science at UNSW.
This scholarship is included in the Faculty of Science Entry Awards and Scholarships (UGCA1730). In order to be potentially considered for this scholarship please apply via the advertisement for the Faculty of Science Entry Awards and Scholarships (UGCA1730)
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must
- Have completed the NSW HSC (or interstate equivalent) or IB, either:
- in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or
- in the previous two years prior to commencing at UNSW, provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period.
- The applicant's family must have lived in a rural or isolated area of NSW for at least four years of the applicant's high school studies and the applicant must have attended a secondary school in rural NSW for at least four (4) years. Note: Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong, the Blue Mountains and their surrounding areas are NOT classified as rural for the purposes of this Scholarship.
- Be commencing full-time undergraduate study in one of the following programs: Bachelor of Science [UNSW Code: 3970] or Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) [UNSW Code: 3962]
