The E & FJ Cowper Award in Chemistry aims to encourage students to undertake study in the School of Chemistry at UNSW.

Application Process


This scholarship is included in the School of Chemistry Entry Awards and Scholarships (UGCA1733). In order to be potentially considered for this scholarship please apply via the advertisement for the School of Chemistry Entry Awards and Scholarships (UGCA1733).

Eligibility

To be eligible applicants must:

  • Have completed the Higher School Certificate (or equivalent qualification) in the year prior to commencing study at UNSW, or two (2) years prior to commencing study provided no tertiary study was undertaken during this period.
  • Be commencing full-time undergraduate study with a major in Chemistry.

Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit
  • Leadership qualities

    • Preference may be given to Indigenous students.

    Interviews

    Interviews are not required for this Scholarship.
