Outline

The Wagga Endoscopy Centre Award is to assist UNSW Medicine students at Wagga Wagga Rural Clinical School who are facing financial hardship or a crisis situation. Two awards are offered each year, in Semester 1 and Semester 2.

Eligibility

The Donor and UNSW agree that the Award shall be awarded in accordance with the eligibility criteria stated below:

  • UNSW Medicine student
  • Currently enrolled at the Wagga Wagga Campus, Rural Clinical School, UNSW

    Selection

    Financial hardship/Crisis situation - students must submit a 500 word statement outlining their need, and why they are a suitable candidate for the award. Students should also outline how they they may hope to give back to society once successful in their careers. This could be through philanthropy, volunteering or any other charitable endeavours. Supporting documents must be provided to confirm financial hardship/crisis situation. Such documents may include, but are not limited to: endorsement letter from family/guardian or person of authority, unpaid bills, medical expenses, Centrelink documentation etc.
