Outline

The Student Achievement Awards (SAA) are offered to assist participants in the U@UNSW program to undertake study in an undergraduate degree program at UNSW. Up to 40 Awards were offered in 2017. The Award comprises: - Certificate of recognition - A single payment of $3,000 following confirmation of full-time enrolment at UNSW - U@UNSW program participants may be awarded up to three bonus points based on U@UNSW program results (included in the maximum total bonus points) for entry into an undergraduate degree program at UNSW, except for Medicine (42800 BMed MD) and Co-op programs. No further bonus points will be awarded. This award can be deferred for up to 2 years, if the offer of Admission is formally deferred and the student does not undertake any other tertiary study in the meantime. The SAA cannot be held in conjunction with a UNSW Scientia Scholarship, Academic Achievement Award or Rural Student Achievement Award.

Eligibility

THERE IS NO NOMINATION OR APPLICATION REQUIRED

For entry to UNSW, offers will be made by UNSW to students that participated in the U@UNSW Program in Year 12.

Selection

Selection will be based on academic merit. Recipients will receive a Certificate of Recognition from UNSW. The Certificate is not an offer to study at UNSW. Payment of the stipend is made only if students are enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program at UNSW, as at Census date (31 March) in the year awarded.
