Outline

The purpose of the Award is to support medical students in gaining an East/Southeast Asian perspective on the practice of medicine.

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

• Currently enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Medicine (BMed) and Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Be eligible to undertaking an elective term where at least 4 weeks of their term will be spent at a centre located in East/ South-East Asia in Term 3, 2024 or Summer Term 2024/2025.

  Selection

  Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic merit
  • Rationale for undertaking the overseas elective.

  Applications with unanswered application questions will not be assessed. Late applications/supporting documentation will not be accepted. Activities and achievements recorded more than 3 year ago will not be considered in your application assessment.
